1. Ordering & Payment
Q: What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Shop Pay and Afterpay. All payments are processed securely at checkout.
Q: Can I modify or cancel my order after placing it?
We process and dispatch orders quickly so we can get them to you fast. If you need to make a change, email us at hello@bubiau.com as soon as possible after placing your order and we will do our best to help before it ships.
2. Shipping & Delivery
We use all major carriers, and local courier partners. You’ll be asked to select a delivery method during checkout.
Q: Where do you ship?
We ship Australia-wide, to New Zealand, Canada and the US.
Q: How much does shipping cost?
Standard shipping is a flat rate of $10 Australia-wide. Express shipping is $15. Orders over $79 ship free anywhere in Australia.
Q: How long will my order take to arrive?
We aim to dispatch all orders within 1-2 business days from our Melbourne warehouse. Standard delivery across Australia typically takes 2-5 business days. Express is 1-3 business days depending on your location.
Q: How do I track my order?
Once your order ships you will receive a tracking email from Australia Post. Click the link and you can follow your parcel all the way to your door.
3. Returns & Exchanges
Q: What is your return policy?
We want you to love your Bubi order. If something is not right you have 14 days from the date of purchase to return it. Items must be unworn, unwashed and in their original packaging with tags attached. Proof of purchase is required.
For hygiene reasons we cannot accept returns on underwear or personal care items unless they are faulty.
Q: How do I start a return?
Simply email us at hello@bubiau.com with your order number and we will take care of the rest. No complicated forms, no runaround.
4. Sizing & Fit
Q: How do I choose the right size?
Every product page has a size guide that lists both Australian sizing and measurements in centimetres and kilograms. If your baby is between sizes, size up - our fabrics have a gentle stretch so slightly larger fits comfortably without being baggy.
Q: What if I am still not sure what size to order?
Email us at hello@bubiau.com and we will help you find the right fit. We know sizing can be confusing and we are happy to guide you.
5. Product & Fabric Information
Q: What fabrics do you use?
We use two fabrics across our range. Our organic cotton pieces are made from 95% organic cotton and 5% spandex- soft, stretchy and free from harsh chemicals.
Our bamboo pieces are made from bamboo fabric which is naturally hypoallergenic and temperature-regulating. Both are free from synthetic dyes and irritants.
Q: Are your baby clothes safe for sensitive skin and eczema?
Yes - this is the whole reason Bubi exists. My son had sensitive skin and I could not find baby clothes that were genuinely gentle.
All our fabrics are free from harmful chemicals, synthetic dyes and irritants. If your baby reacts to conventional fabrics, ours are worth trying.
Q: Will the clothes pill or lose their shape after washing?
No. We tested over 20 fabric suppliers specifically to find one that holds its softness and shape wash after wash. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, tumble dry low - that is all it needs.
Q: Are your products certified organic?
Our fabrics are made from organic cotton and bamboo. We are transparent about our sourcing — if you have a specific question about certifications email us at hello@bubiau.com and we will give you a straight answer.
6. Sustainability & Ethical Sourcing
Q: How is Bubi sustainable?
We believe the most sustainable thing a baby garment can do is last. We use organic cotton and bamboo - natural fibres grown without harmful pesticides.
We pack every order in recyclable materials. And we design every piece to be durable enough to hand down to the next baby, reducing waste and the need to constantly replace clothing.
Q: Where are Bubi clothes made?
Bubi is designed in Melbourne by my husband and me. Our garments are manufactured in China by a supplier we spent a long time finding - one that meets our quality and ethical standards.
We are honest about this because we think transparency matters.

8. Gift Cards
Q: Do you offer gift cards?
Yes. A Bubi gift card is one of the most practical gifts you can give a new parent - it lets them choose exactly what they need rather than guessing sizes or styles.
Gift cards are available from $50 to $300, delivered instantly by email and never expire.
Q: Can I use a gift card at checkout?
Yes - enter your gift card code at checkout and it will be applied to your order automatically.
