Bubi started because I wanted better for my son. Better fabric. Better quality. Better choices. And along the way, better for the planet too.
We are not a brand that slapped "eco-friendly" on our packaging to follow a trend. Every decision we make - from the fabric we chose to the way we pack your order - comes back to one question: is this genuinely better?
Why sustainable baby clothing matters
Babies wear their clothes against their skin all day and all night, so what those clothes are made from matters. Choosing organic cotton is better for the planet - and it's a gentle choice for your baby too.

Grown without harmful pesticides - our organic cotton is grown without the synthetic pesticides conventional cotton relies on.
Made to last - the most sustainable thing a baby garment can do is keep being worn. Packed thoughtfully - we use recyclable packaging in every order and avoid unnecessary plastic.
How we reduce our environmental footprint
We use organic cotton, grown without synthetic pesticides, and bamboo viscose, made from a fast-growing renewable plant rather than plastic-based synthetics.
We design timeless, durable pieces - not trend-driven collections that are out of style in six months. A Bubi onesie that's handed down to a second baby is one less onesie that needs to be made.
We partner with manufacturers who meets our quality standards. We were honest about where our clothes are made on our About Us page and we are honest here too - we chose our manufacturer carefully and we are proud of what they produce.
We use recyclable packaging on every order.
How you can help
The most sustainable thing you can do with baby clothes is keep them in circulation. Here is how:
Wash cold on a gentle cycle - it preserves fabric quality and saves energy. Line drying on a sunny day saves even more energy - and our clothes are happy in the dryer on low too.
Pass them on - once your baby outgrows a Bubi piece, pass it to a friend, family member or donate it. Our fabrics are built to survive this.
Buy less, buy better - one well-made organic onesie that lasts is better than three cheap ones that fall apart.
A note from us
We are a small family business. We do not have the resources of the big brands but we have something they do not - a genuine reason to care. This started with my son and his sensitive skin. Every choice we make still comes back to that.
