Sustainability
Our commitment to sustainability
Bubi started because I wanted better for my son. Better fabric. Better quality. Better choices. And along the way, better for the planet too.
We are not a brand that slapped "eco-friendly" on our packaging to follow a trend. Every decision we make — from the fabric we chose to the way we pack your order — comes back to one question: is this genuinely better?

Why sustainable baby clothing matters
Conventional baby clothing is often made with synthetic fibres, harsh chemical dyes and pesticide-heavy cotton. Babies wear these fabrics against their skin all day and all night — and their skin absorbs more than adult skin does.
Choosing organic and natural fibres is not just better for the planet. It is better for your baby right now.
Our baby clothes are:
Free from harmful pesticides and chemicals — our organic cotton is grown without the toxic inputs conventional cotton relies on.
Free from harsh dyes — our fabrics use non-toxic, water-based dyes that are gentle on sensitive and eczema-prone skin.
Made to last — the most sustainable thing a baby garment can do is keep being worn. We design for durability so our clothes survive multiple children, not just one season.
Packed responsibly — your order arrives in recyclable packaging. No unnecessary plastic.

How we reduce our environmental footprint
We use organic cotton and bamboo because they are natural, renewable fibres that are kinder to the environment than synthetic alternatives.
We design timeless, durable pieces — not trend-driven collections that are out of style in six months. A Bubi onesie that lasts through three children is three onesies that never end up in landfill.
We partner with manufacturers who meet our quality and ethical standards. We were honest about where our clothes are made on our About Us page and we are honest here too — we chose our manufacturer carefully and we are proud of what they produce.
We use recyclable packaging on every order.
How you can help
The most sustainable thing you can do with baby clothes is keep them in circulation. Here is how:
Wash cold on a gentle cycle — it preserves fabric quality and saves energy. Our clothes are designed to be machine washed so please do not hand wash or line dry only out of habit.
Pass them on — once your baby outgrows a Bubi piece, pass it to a friend, family member or donate it. Our fabrics are built to survive this.
Buy less, buy better — one well-made organic onesie that lasts is better than three cheap ones that fall apart.
A note from us
We are a small family business. We do not have the resources of the big brands but we have something they do not — a genuine reason to care. This started with my son and his sensitive skin. Every choice we make still comes back to that.
Thank you for choosing Bubi. It means more than you know. 🤍
