Shipping & Returns

We ship from Melbourne with care - and we keep it simple.

Where we ship

Australia and New Zealand only.

Processing times

Orders are packed within 1–3 business days. You'll receive a tracking number as soon as your parcel is on its way.

Standard shipping

  • Australia: 3–7 business days - free on orders over $79 AUD, otherwise calculated at checkout
  • New Zealand: 6–12 business days - flat rate $25 AUD

Express shipping

  • Australia: 1–3 business days
  • Rates calculated at checkout

Delivery delays

We do everything we can to get your order out the door fast, but sometimes things slow down - carrier hiccups, customs checks for New Zealand orders, or busy seasonal periods. Thanks for your patience if it happens.

Wrong or undeliverable addresses

Please double-check your shipping details at checkout. If a parcel is returned to us because of an incorrect address, you may need to cover the cost of resending it.

Lost or stolen parcels

Once your parcel is with the carrier, it's largely out of our hands. If a parcel is marked as delivered but missing, please contact the carrier first. If you need a hand, email hello@bubiau.com and we'll do what we can to help.

New Zealand orders - duties and GST

Prices on our website are in AUD. New Zealand GST may be added at checkout where required under New Zealand's low-value goods rules. Any additional duties or fees imposed by New Zealand customs are the customer's responsibility.


Returns & Refunds

We want you to love what you buy. If something isn't right, here's how it works.

Our 14-day return window

You have 14 days from the day your order arrives to request a return.

To be eligible, your item must be:

  • Unused, unworn, with tags still attached
  • In its original packaging
  • Accompanied by your order number or proof of purchase

To start a return, email hello@bubiau.com. If it's approved, we'll send through return instructions. Please don't post anything back without approval - returns sent without prior approval can't be accepted.

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

Our products come with guarantees that can't be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You're entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund if a product:

  • Has a major fault
  • Doesn't match its description
  • Isn't fit for its intended purpose
  • Is unsafe

For minor faults, we may choose to repair the item, replace it, or refund you within a reasonable time. These rights apply in addition to our 14-day return policy.

Change-of-mind returns are accepted under our 14-day policy but don't fall under ACL guarantees.

Damaged or faulty items

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect, email hello@bubiau.com with a few photos and your order number. We'll sort it out for you.

What we can't accept back

  • Gift cards
  • Final sale items
  • Custom or personalised orders
  • Items returned outside the 14-day window (unless covered by ACL)

Exchanges

The fastest way to get the size or style you want is to return the original and place a new order. Once your return is approved, you can order the replacement separately.

Refunds

Once your return arrives back with us and has been checked, we'll let you know if it's approved. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days.

If 15 business days have passed and your refund hasn't landed, email hello@bubiau.com and we'll look into it for you.
